So Cal Pro Bono Managers celebrates ABA Pro Bono Week 2016 with two offerings, a free MCLE presented by pro bono attorneys from law firms and corporations who will share their perspectives on how to best work with clients who may present challenges, including youth experiencing trauma and aging adults, and a regional listing of pro bono clinics and trainings in October.

The free elimination of bias MCLE, titled Working Effectively in Representation of Clients with Challenging Behaviors, will be held at the LA Law Library on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 12:15 pm.  Presenters will be Kelly Henderson of Southern California Edison, Tim Toohey of Greenberg Glusker and Jessica Walker of Nixon Peabody.  To register, go to http://bit.ly/2cZMmtl.

In addition, southern California legal services agencies have put together a partial listing of pro bono clinics and opportunities available in October so that interested attorneys will be able to better understand the wide range of volunteer opportunities that are available to help close the justice gap.  The listing will be found on the OneJustice website, https://onejustice.org commencing mid-October.
